Never ever bank with 1st convenience bank or first national bank texas. They are far from convenient and have caused me many headaches. I had a family emergency and moved to Kentucky. I have a 1st convenience account based out of mineral wells tx with a balance of $600 in it. My account went dormant because of inactivity. I've tried for 3 months to retrieve the money that is mine. The national call center is helpful, but can only do so much. The Mineral Wells 1st convenience bank will not answer the phone, and I have been trying for 3 months. It wouldn't be worth the money to go in person and close the account. How can you call yourselves 1st convenience if you cannot even answer the phone?
Don't know what everyone is complaining about. I've gone from Wells Fargo, to BOA, to Frost... This is the best bank I have used. My direct deposit is always squared away promptly, I always get the service I would expect, and I love the hours.
They suck
This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with! After I stood in line for 20 minutes to make a withdraw of $1,000 because their ATM was out of service and the amount I needed would exceed the daily limit on a debit card, the teller informs me that they are limiting everyone to a max withdraw of $200 because they are almost out of money! OUT OF MONEY?!! EXCUSE ME I CAN'T HAVE MY OWN MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT??!!!! Absolutely insane that I cannot withdraw my money. I will be closing that account tomorrow or as soon as they have money to give me.
I thank its stupid they charge you to use your phone to check your balance. .
