Great place to live or stay the weekend
We were on our way home to Kansas from south Texas when saw their billboard, since it was very hot outside we decided to stop so we would have 50 amp service to run our AC units. A gentleman greeted us in the drive as we pulled in, we told him we just needed a space for one night, and he promptly directed us to a pull-through site and said to come to the office after we got all hooked up and settled. The total cost for one night was only $35.00! We will defiantly make this a regular stop on our way to and from south Texas
Peaceful, clean and even has a place for livestock! Beautiful place!
"With on 2 spots left to stay in" was the response when we called to see if we needed a reservation-- having an RV it is impossible to understand how this place is called an RV Resort. 98% of the rv's there are permanent because the occupants are "residents" of this "resort". Even the cabins are occupied permanently. Grass is 12 inches tall - no mowing. The residents there also allow their dogs out late at night to use the bathroom and these dogs are unleashed so they chose where and consequently the owners DO NOT clean up after their pets. It is also impossible to understand how anyone could give this business a 5 star review - have to wonder who those 5 star reviewers are????? Big trucks drive up and down the roads of the "resort" all hours of the night - diesel engines, motorcycles, cars - very noisy and 281 provides you with the assortment of 18 wheelers all night long. Would recommend you stay ANYWHERE ELSE - we would never stay here again regardless of who buys, manages or runs it.
Great Park! Polite staff. Very nice grass area in the back to walk our dogs, and a beautiful pool. Lots of nice shade trees.
Beautiful park. Lots of trees. Clean bathrooms with laundry and exercise room. A little bit of highway noise but it gets quiet at night. Friendly staff. Didn't freak out when I mentioned that I have six kids. We stayed a week. Would definitely stay again.
